The Karnataka High Court on Monday sharply criticised the state government over the June 4 Bengaluru stampede that killed 11 people before RCB’s victory parade. During the hearing, the court raised nine pointed questions on crowd control, permissions, medical preparedness, and procedural lapses. It slammed the government for failing to inform the court about the case transfer to the CID while arrests continued under other agencies. The court demanded answers in a sealed cover. Event organiser DNA Networks claimed the CM invited the public. One RCB official has also challenged the legality of his arrest in the case. (PC: AP)
