Lucknow Offers Prayers And Prepares Celebrations For Shubhanshu Shukla’s Historic Space Launch To ISS Tomorrow

As Group Captain Shubhanshu Shukla gears up for his historic Axiom-4 mission to the International Space Station (ISS) on June 11, Lucknow is united in prayers and celebration. Special yagnas were held at City Montessori School, his alma mater, while his family marked the final ‘Bada Mangal’ with devotion. Massive hoardings, cutouts, and space-themed launch parties are set across the city. Shukla, 39, will become the first Indian to reach the ISS. His mother said, “He always accomplishes what he sets his mind to.” The 14-day mission includes astronauts from India, the US, Hungary, and Poland. (PC: X)
