Pakistani-Canadian Extradited Over ISIS-Inspired Brooklyn Shooting Plot

Muhammad Shahzeb Khan, a 20-year-old Pakistani national residing in Canada, was extradited to the U.S. on June 10 to face terrorism charges after allegedly planning a mass shooting at a Jewish centre in Brooklyn supported by ISIS . Arrested near the Quebec–U.S. border on September 4, 2024, he had been communicating with undercover FBI agents to procure assault rifles, knives, and a smuggler for the Oct 7–11, 2024 attack timed with Jewish events . U.S. Attorney Jay Clayton and others praised international cooperation leading to his arrest. Khan faces up to 20 years, or potentially life, if convicted. (PC: News 18)
