Thousands gathered in Graz, Austria, for a candlelight vigil after a school shooting left 10 dead and 12 injured. The gunman, a 21-year-old former student, took his own life after the attack at Dreierschützengasse secondary school. Police recovered a farewell note and non-functional pipe bomb at his home. Seven victims were students. Austrian Chancellor Christian Stocker called it a “national tragedy” and declared three days of mourning. The shooter legally owned the weapons used. Vigils, blood donations, and city-wide grief gripped Graz, as flags flew half-mast nationwide. The school will remain closed while investigations continue under national security services. (PC: BBC)
