The Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner crashed shortly after takeoff on June 12, striking the BJ Medical College hostel. Modi has directed central agencies to assist in rescue, relief, and investigation efforts. His visit will include meetings with Gujarat officials, emergency responders, and possibly the lone survivor, Vishwashkumar Ramesh.
