US President Donald Trump declared on Friday that he is “not concerned” about a wider Middle East war, confirming he gave Iran a 60-day ultimatum to pursue diplomacy. “Today was the 61st day,” he told Reuters, backing Israel’s strikes on Iran’s nuclear and military facilities. Trump said he had foreknowledge of the assault and held talks with Israeli PM Netanyahu. Despite escalating tensions, Trump said US-Iran nuclear talks scheduled in Oman could still happen. “It’s not too late,” he added.
