US President Donald Trump stopped a plan by Israel to kill Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, according to a Reuters report citing US officials. A senior official said Trump blocked the move because Iran had not attacked Americans. Trump warned Iran that if it harmed US assets, the military would respond with “full strength and might.” He also urged both Israel and Iran to “make a deal” and end the war.
