A yellow heat alert has been issued for most of England, with temperatures expected to reach 33°C this weekend. Only the North East and North West are not under warning. The alert starts Wednesday at noon and ends Sunday evening. The elderly and people with health issues are most at risk. The East of England may be hottest, possibly breaking this year’s record of 29.4°C. London Fire Brigade warned of wildfire risks due to dry weather.
