India’s aviation regulator DGCA has confirmed that no significant safety concerns were found in Air India’s Boeing 787 Dreamliner fleet after detailed inspections. The review was ordered following the fatal crash of Flight AI 171 in Ahmedabad on June 12, which claimed 241 lives. DGCA stated that both the aircraft and maintenance systems complied with existing safety standards. The reassurance comes amid public scrutiny and an ongoing investigation into the tragedy. Air India had grounded part of its fleet for checks. The findings suggest the crash was not due to systemic safety lapses in the Dreamliner fleet. (PC: News18)
