On Day 3 of the 1st Test in Leeds, India took a 96-run lead over England, thanks to Jasprit Bumrah’s superb 5-wicket haul (5/83) and KL Rahul’s unbeaten 47. England posted 465 in reply to India’s 471, with Ollie Pope scoring 106 and Harry Brook narrowly missing a century at 99. Prasidh Krishna claimed 3 wickets, while Mohammed Siraj took 2. India’s second innings began shakily with Yashasvi Jaiswal falling for 4, but KL Rahul and debutant Sai Sudharsan steadied the innings with a vital 66-run stand.
