The US Supreme Court has allowed President Donald Trump's administration to resume deporting migrants to third countries, overturning a lower court ruling. In a 6-3 decision, the court rejected an earlier order that mandated migrants be given a chance to explain potential dangers in those countries. Liberal justices called the ruling a “gross abuse,” warning of exposure to “torture and death.” The deported group included eight migrants from Myanmar, South Sudan, and more. While DHS hailed the decision as a win for national security, rights groups condemned it. Trump previously ended protected status for Venezuelans, affecting 350,000 people. (PC: Getty Images)
