"Touched his feet, begged for mercy, but he didn’t stop," a 24-year-old law student wrote in her complaint, alleging gang-rape inside South Calcutta Law College on June 25. She said the main accused, Monojit Mishra, a former student and TMCP leader, raped her after she refused his marriage proposal, while two students stood guard. The assault was filmed to blackmail her. “He undressed me and started forcefully raping me,” she stated. Police arrested all three and seized their phones.
