Passengers and crew reported unusually high temperatures during the flight, prompting the precautionary diversion. The aircraft landed safely at Kolkata Airport and is currently undergoing technical checks. An Air India spokesperson confirmed that the airline’s ground staff are assisting passengers and arranging alternate travel to Delhi. “We regret the inconvenience caused,” the airline stated.
