Manojit Mishra, a TMC student leader, has been arrested for gang-raping a 24-year-old law student in Kolkata. Two other students were also held. The victim said Mishra forced her to stay back at college, proposed to her, and later raped her after she refused. She said he beat her, locked the gates, and threatened her boyfriend. Mishra was known for harassing girls and abusing power on campus. Many students had complained earlier, but no action was taken. Kolkata Police have formed a special team to investigate.
