A cloudburst caused a massive landslide near Silai Bend on the Yamunotri Highway in Uttarkashi early Sunday. Two labourers were killed, and seven others are still missing. The landslide struck around 1 am while 29 people were at the campsite. Rescuers saved 20, but two bodies were found under the debris. The missing include labourers from Nepal and Dehradun. The road has been badly damaged, halting the Char Dham yatra. Rescue work is ongoing with help from NDRF, SDRF, and police. Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Dhami has ordered fast-tracked search and relief efforts. Road repair teams are working to restore traffic. (PC: Hindustan Times)
