A severe weather alert has been issued in Himachal Pradesh as intense rain continues. The IMD's Hydromet Division warns of moderate-to-high flash‑flood risk in Chamba, Kangra, Kullu, Mandi, Shimla, Sirmaur and Solan districts until July 1. These areas may see surface runoff, inundation in low‑lying, saturated zones, thunderstorms, lightning and reduced visibility.
