A SpiceJet Q400 aircraft flying from Goa to Pune experienced a mid-air scare on Tuesday when a window frame dislodged, alarming passengers. A passenger said the frame “just popped out” 30 minutes after takeoff near a mother with a baby. SpiceJet clarified that it was a non-structural, cosmetic panel with no impact on cabin pressure or safety. The crew moved the affected passengers and attempted to reattach the frame. The airline later confirmed the component was fixed post-landing. The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) was tagged by a concerned passenger on social media, raising questions on airworthiness.
