The BCCI and Bangladesh Cricket Board have jointly postponed India’s white-ball tour of Bangladesh, originally set for August 17–31, 2025 to September 2026. The six-match series (three ODIs and three T20Is) was moved due to scheduling conflicts with international commitments and logistical challenges. Diplomatic and security concerns stemming from recent political tensions and trade disputes between the countries also influenced the decision. A BCCI statement confirmed that revised dates and venues will be shared later. The move follows government advice cautioning against proceeding amid regional instability. India’s last visit included Tests and T20s in 2024, while the most recent white-ball encounter came during the Champions Trophy earlier this year. (PC: Business Standard & PTI)
