Former India coach Ravi Shastri praised 14-year-old Vaibhav Suryavanshi after his 143 off 78 balls against England U19. “If he keeps scoring runs like this, he will be fast-tracked into the Indian team,” said Shastri. The young left-hander hit 13 fours and 10 sixes, breaking the Youth ODI record for fastest century in just 52 balls. “He’s already caught everyone’s eye,” Shastri added. Vaibhav also made history in IPL 2025 and Youth Tests. “Vaibhav has brought pride to Bihar and India,” said Bihar Cricket Association chief Rakesh Tiwari.
