India captain Shubman Gill is on the verge of making cricketing history during the ongoing England Test series. With 585 runs in just two matches, Gill is on track to break four world records—three of which are held by Sir Donald Bradman. He needs 225 more runs to surpass Bradman’s 810-run record for most runs in a Test series as captain, and 390 to break the overall record of 974 runs in a series. He could also become the fastest Test captain to reach 1,000 runs and equal Bradman and Clyde Walcott’s century tally. Three matches remain in the series. (PC: BCCI)
