Comedian Kapil Sharma’s newly launched Kap’s Cafe in Surrey, Canada, was attacked late Wednesday night as unidentified gunmen fired multiple rounds at the building. No injuries were reported. Khalistani terrorist Harjeet Singh Laddi, listed as most-wanted by India’s National Investigation Agency (NIA), claimed responsibility for the shooting. Linked to Babbar Khalsa International (BKI), Laddi reportedly cited Sharma’s past remarks as motive. The attackers fled in a vehicle. Authorities are investigating whether the cafe or the comedian was the actual target. The incident comes shortly after the premiere of The Kapil Sharma Show Season 3 on Netflix on June 21.
