Indian cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar received twin honours at Lord’s on July 10, 2025. Before the start of the third Test between India and England, Tendulkar rang the iconic five-minute bell, a tradition reserved for cricket legends. Earlier, he unveiled a special portrait of himself at the MCC Museum’s Long Room. The portrait, by Stuart Pearson Wright, marks his historic journey—from his first visit in 1988 as a teenager to 200 Test appearances. Tendulkar expressed gratitude, calling the moment “a full circle.” This match is also part of the inaugural Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy, named after the most capped Test players. (PC: X)
