The Axiom-4 mission crew, including Indian astronaut Group Captain Shubhanshu Shukla, will remain aboard the ISS until July 14 due to a delay in their return, originally scheduled for July 10. Launched on June 25 via SpaceX’s Falcon 9, the crew docked with the ISS on June 26. During their extended stay, they’ve conducted pioneering research in microgravity, including plant germination and microalgae experiments. These studies aim to enhance space sustainability and Earth-based innovation. Shukla’s contributions mark a milestone for India’s space ambitions. The crew will undock no earlier than 7:05 a.m. ET on July 14, continuing their outreach and scientific efforts in orbit. (PC: Unstumbled & Swadesi)
