In a tragic incident on July 9 at 1:45 a.m., a drunk driver of a white Audi car ran over five people sleeping on a footpath near Shiva Camp in Delhi’s Vasant Vihar. The victims two couples and an eight-year-old girl were seriously injured and rushed to nearby hospitals. The accused, 40-year-old Utsav Shekhar from Dwarka, was arrested on the spot. Medical reports confirmed he was intoxicated. All victims are migrant workers from Rajasthan.
