India’s Shubhanshu Shukla Says ‘Saare Jahan Se Accha’ As Axiom-4 Crew Prepares Return From ISS

IAF Group Captain Shubhanshu Shukla, India’s first astronaut on the ISS through the Axiom-4 mission, will return to Earth on July 15 after two weeks in space. During the farewell, Shukla echoed Rakesh Sharma’s iconic words, saying India still looks “saare jahan se accha” from space. He praised India’s fearless progress and thanked ISRO, NASA, Axiom, and the people of India. The Axiom-4 crew, aboard SpaceX’s Dragon, is set to undock from ISS on July 14. Shukla will undergo seven days of rehabilitation post-landing. This historic mission included over 60 experiments to support India’s future space ambitions.
