India’s first astronaut to the International Space Station, Group Captain Shubhanshu Shukla, will undock today at 4:30 pm IST, concluding his historic 18-day Ax-4 mission. Shukla and his crew conducted over 60 scientific experiments across biology, AI, materials science, and human health. His work included groundbreaking studies on microalgae and plant growth in space. In a heartfelt farewell, Shukla said India appears “fearless, confident, and proud” from space. His return marks a major milestone for India’s space ambitions.
