At least 4 people died after a Beechcraft B200 crashed moments after takeoff at London’s Southend Airport on Sunday. The plane, carrying 2 pilots and 2 passengers, veered left before crashing into a grassy area and bursting into flames. All flights to and from the airport have been cancelled, and the airport remains closed. The aircraft had earlier flown from Greece and Croatia. Authorities suspect engine failure may have caused the crash. This tragedy follows last month’s Air India crash in Ahmedabad. A police press conference is expected to confirm further details.
