Indian astronaut Group Captain Shubhanshu Shukla is set to return to Earth today at around 3 PM IST after an 18-day mission aboard the International Space Station (ISS). Shukla and the multinational Ax-4 crew will splashdown in the Pacific Ocean off California following a dangerous re-entry through Earth's atmosphere. The SpaceX Dragon capsule undocked on Monday for a 22-hour return journey. Shukla conducted over 60 experiments, including plant biology and AI research.
