Group Captain Shubhanshu Shukla was safely extracted from the SpaceX Dragon capsule after the successful conclusion of the Axiom-4 mission. He is reported to be in stable condition and is now undergoing a structured post-mission medical evaluation led by ISRO and Axiom Space. The seven-day assessment includes cardiovascular, musculoskeletal, and psychological health checks. During the 21-day mission, including 18 days aboard the International Space Station, Shukla conducted seven ISRO-led microgravity experiments on space biology and human physiology. His mission also featured public outreach events, strengthening India’s presence in international human spaceflight initiatives. (PC: PTI)
