Shah Rukh Khan sustained a muscular injury while filming an intense sequence for King in Mumbai. Though not serious, the actor has flown to the US for treatment and has been advised to rest for one month. The film’s July–August shoot schedule has been cancelled, with production expected to resume post-September. Directed by Siddharth Anand, King stars Suhana Khan and Saurabh Shukla, with rumored appearances by Deepika Padukone, Rani Mukerji, Abhishek Bachchan, and others. Jaideep Ahlawat confirmed his role, citing SRK’s personal request. SRK’s manager Pooja Dadlani hinted at being in New York via Instagram.
