The Delhi government has revamped its Mukhyamantri Khel Protsahan Yojana, offering ₹7 crore for Olympic and Paralympic gold medallists, ₹5 crore for silver, and ₹3 crore for bronze. Gold and silver winners will also receive Group A jobs in the government, while bronze medallists get Group B posts. The initiative aims to retain sporting talent in Delhi and promote excellence. Additional incentives include ₹5 lakh for national-level athletes, ₹11 lakh for National Games medallists, and ₹20 lakh annual support for elite performers. The scheme also enhances training and infrastructure for long-term athlete development in the capital.
