Security officials confirmed that a satellite phone signal led Indian forces to the hiding spot of Suleiman Shah, the mastermind of the April Pahalgam terror attack that killed 26. Shah, also known as Hashim Moosa, was neutralised during a joint operation,  codenamed Operation Mahadev by the Indian Army and J&K Police in the forests near Dachigam National Park. Forces intercepted communication between Shah and his handlers across the border, which revealed his exact location. Two other terrorists, including Jibran, linked to the Sonamarg tunnel attack were also killed. Officials say Shah was found resting in a hidden tent. Final forensic identification of the bodies is underway. (PC: Hindustan Times)
