India, led by Shubman Gill, has shattered multiple records in the 2025 Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy against England. The team amassed 3,809 runs, the most ever in a five-match Test series surpassing Australia’s 1989 Ashes tally. Indian batters hit 470 boundaries (422 fours, 48 sixes), also a world record. Gill scored 754 runs, breaking Graham Gooch’s record for most runs in an India-England Test series and becoming the highest-scoring Indian captain in a single series. Five players crossed 400 runs, including KL Rahul, Jadeja, Pant, and Jaiswal. Despite falling short of Gavaskar’s all-time mark, Gill’s leadership and batting have redefined India’s Test dominance.
