An active shooter incident at Fort Stewart, the largest US Army base east of the Mississippi, has resulted in reported casualties. The base, located in southeast Georgia, remains under lockdown as authorities investigate. Fort Stewart officials confirmed the shooter was in the vicinity of the 2nd Armored Brigade Combat Team. It remains unclear whether casualties include injuries or fatalities. Lt. Col. Angel Tomko said the situation is ongoing.
