More than 200 people are missing in Buner district, north-west Pakistan, after flash floods and landslides, officials said. At least 300 people have died across Pakistan and Pakistan-administered Kashmir in recent days, mostly in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. Rescue teams say entire villages were buried, while damaged roads prevent families from claiming bodies. Heavy rains have also hit Indian-administered Kashmir, killing at least 60. Pakistan’s disaster authority said rainfall will continue until 21 August, with several regions declared disaster zones. Experts warn climate change and melting glaciers are worsening floods. This year’s monsoon has already killed over 650 people nationwide. (PC: BBC)
