Nepal’s Gen Z-led protests have turned more violent despite the government lifting its social media ban. Protesters set fire to the private homes of Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, President Ram Chandra Paudel, and other top leaders. Residences of Prachanda, Sher Bahadur Deuba, and several ministers were also attacked. Kathmandu’s Hilton hotel, owned by a ruling party leader, was torched. Tribhuvan International Airport was shut down, with army helicopters evacuating ministers and preparing to move Oli. Over 20 people have died and 250 injured since Monday. Protesters demand Oli’s resignation and the government’s dismissal as unrest spreads nationwide. (PC: India Today)
