Nato members are sending troops, aircraft, and air defence systems to Poland after Russian drones entered its airspace. Poland said three drones were shot down, while others crashed across the east. Warsaw called it a “large-scale provocation” by Russia. The Netherlands, Czech Republic, Germany, France, and the UK promised support, with deployments ranging from helicopters to air policing. Poland’s defence minister said these are “concrete declarations” after years of empty words. President Karol Nawrocki warned Russia is testing Nato. Poland also closed its border with Belarus before Russian-Belarus drills. Nato says it is not taking chances. (PC: BBC)
