Cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar has categorically denied rumors about contesting for BCCI president's position ahead of September 28 elections. His management company, SRT Sports Management, issued a statement refuting "unfounded speculations" about his nomination or consideration for the role. The BCCI will elect a new president to replace Roger Binny, whose three-year tenure ends soon. Binny had succeeded Sourav Ganguly in 2022. New officials will also be chosen for vice-president, treasurer, secretary, and joint secretary positions. The 52-year-old Master Blaster, cricket's highest run-scorer with 34,357 international runs and 100 centuries, has never held official BCCI positions except serving on the Cricket Advisory Committee from 2015-2019. He currently works as Mumbai Indians' icon. (PC: Pinterest)
