Prince Harry visited Kyiv to launch rehabilitation initiatives for wounded Ukrainian troops through his Invictus Games Foundation. Invited by Superhumans, a Ukrainian organization specializing in prosthetics and trauma care, Harry aims to expand support nationwide. With an estimated 130,000 Ukrainians left permanently disabled since Russia’s 2022 invasion, the government now prioritizes sport in recovery crediting the Invictus movement. During his visit, Harry met veterans, toured war museums, and spoke with Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko. He emphasized the importance of keeping the war’s human toll visible. The trip follows his April visit to Lviv and a $1.5M donation to Children in Need. His presence was requested personally by Superhumans CEO Olga Rudnieva.
