India captain Suryakumar Yadav avoided the customary handshake with Pakistan captain Salman Agha during the toss in Dubai on Sunday. The Asia Cup 2025 Group A clash already carried high political and emotional tension. According to reports, Suryakumar told team management before the match that he would not shake hands and left it to teammates to decide individually. The move came after public calls for a boycott following the Pahalgam terror attack and India’s Operation Sindoor.
