UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer has said, “We will never surrender” to far-right protesters after over 100,000 people joined an anti-immigration rally in London led by Tommy Robinson. Starmer added, “Our flag represents our diverse country,” and warned, “We will not tolerate citizens being targeted for their background or the colour of their skin.” He condemned attacks on police officers during the march. The rally, called “Unite the Kingdom,” featured chants like “Stop the boats” and “Tommy, whose street?” A 5,000-strong counter-protest also took place.
