A 5.8 magnitude earthquake shook Assam on Sunday evening. The epicenter was near Odalguri, between Guwahati and Tezpur, at a depth of 5 km. Tremors were felt across Assam, North Bengal, Kolkata, Bangladesh, Nepal, and Bhutan. In Nagaon district, a private hospital captured a heart-touching scene. During the quake, when lights flickered and people ran in fear, two nurses stayed back in the nursery. They rushed to newborn babies, placing protective hands over them. Their brave act ensured the babies felt safe. The emotional video went viral on social media, drawing praise and tears from many.
