Indian Armed Forces to Merge Education Wings & Set Up Three Joint Military Stations

In a major push for “jointness” and integration, the Indian Army, Navy, and Air Force have decided to merge their education branches into a single Tri-Services Education Corps. The move was approved on the final day of the Combined Commanders’ Conference (CCC) 2025, held in Kolkata. Alongside, the establishment of three Joint Military Stations received the green light. These reforms aim to improve coordination, optimise infrastructure and manpower, and strengthen operational efficiency among the three services. Chief of Defence Staff Gen. Anil Chauhan reviewed directives from PM Modi and Defence Minister Rajnath Singh during the conference, emphasising time-bound implementation. .
