Congress MP Rahul Gandhi accused the Election Commission of mass voter deletions in Congress strongholds before the 2023 Karnataka election. At a press conference, he presented three case studies—Godabai, Suryakant, and Nagaraj—as “100% proof” of fraud. Gandhi claimed fake logins and automated software were used to file voter deletion forms. In one case, a man allegedly deleted 12 voters in 14 minutes, while another filed two forms in 36 seconds at 4:07 am. Gandhi said targeted deletions also occurred in Maharashtra, Haryana, and Uttar Pradesh. The Election Commission rejected the claims, calling them “baseless.” (PC: India Today)
