US President Donald Trump told world leaders at the 80th UN General Assembly that he had ended seven “unendable” wars in just seven months. He claimed to have resolved conflicts involving Cambodia-Thailand, Serbia, Congo-Rwanda, Israel-Iran, Egypt-Ethiopia, Armenia-Azerbaijan, and India-Pakistan. Trump repeated that Washington brokered a truce between India and Pakistan after May’s military flare-up, despite both countries denying US mediation. India said the ceasefire was agreed directly by their militaries, while Pakistan’s foreign minister admitted India never allowed third-party involvement. Trump also criticized the UN for “not helping,” while joking about a stalled escalator and broken teleprompter before his speech. (PC: India Today)
