India refused to accept the Asia Cup 2025 trophy and medals after beating Pakistan in a thrilling final on Sunday. The team boycotted the ceremony as it was to be presented by ACC chief and Pakistan Cricket Board chairman Mohsin Naqvi. The presentation was delayed over an hour, with Pakistan players initially refusing to leave their dressing room. Indian fans loudly booed Naqvi when he stepped on stage. Player awards were given to Tilak Varma, Kuldeep Yadav, and Shivam Dube, but the ceremony ended abruptly without India collecting the winners’ trophies.
