Just minutes after taking the oath, Telangana CM Revanth Reddy ordered barricade removal outside his residence, quickly fulfilling one of his poll guarantees. Bulldozers uprooted iron rods from Hyderabad's Pragathi Bhavan as workers swarmed the premises during Reddy's swearing-in itself. During campaigning, Reddy pledged to raze the 'feudal' barricades if Congress triumphed in the elections. Earlier, the 54-year-old replaced KCR becoming only Telangana's second CM since statehood in 2014. Known for unrelenting grit, Revanth Reddy was sworn in alongside 10 ministers, including deputy CM Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, at a packed Hyderabad stadium event. Now Reddy's cabinet faces fiscal constraints and pressure delivering Congress's election promises.
