US President Donald Trump urged Israel to stop bombing Gaza after Hamas said it would release all remaining Israeli hostages. Hamas accepted key parts of Trump’s 20-point peace plan but asked for further talks on some issues. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Israel is preparing to begin the first phase of the plan. Trump said he believes Hamas is “ready for a lasting peace.” World leaders, including the UN, UK, France, Germany, Turkey, Italy, and Canada, welcomed the step and urged all sides to seize the chance for peace and ceasefire.
