Rishab Shetty’s Kantara Chapter 1 has stormed past ₹325 crore worldwide in just 4 days. The Kannada film earned ₹61 crore on Sunday, taking its domestic total to ₹223.25 crore net. It is now the first Kannada movie of 2025 to cross ₹300 crore globally. The film has beaten KGF Chapter 1 and HanuMan in total earnings, becoming the third-highest-grossing Kannada film ever, behind KGF Chapter 2 and the first Kantara. Starring Rishab Shetty and Rukmini Vasanth, this prequel has received strong audience reviews and could cross ₹400 crore by the end of its first week. (PC: HT)
