Senior Haryana police officer Narendra Bijarniya has been removed from his position as Superintendent of Police in Rohtak after being named in an FIR related to the suicide of Additional Director General of Police (ADGP) Y Puran Kumar. Kumar's wife, IAS officer Amneet Puran Kumar, filed a formal complaint alleging harassment and abetment by senior officials, including Haryana DGP Shatrujeet Kapoor and the Rohtak SSP. The complaint led to the registration of an FIR against 13 officers. A Special Investigation Team (SIT) has been formed to probe the case.
